Wow...now that is just plain cool! It took a few seconds to register the perspective here but I REALLY like this! #666946

Thanks Dianna! There were a number of these clams totally cemented within the coral. They ranged from blue to purple and some had spots and some were more solid. The clam is about 3-4 inches from side to side (which is top-to-bottom in this shot). The cool thing is that we were staying in an overwater bungalow and these clams were right at the foot of the steps that lead into the lagoon. I was in about 4 or 5 feet of water when I took this and I used an underwater housing on my Canon S45. #4358975
