Beautiful image, Bernice! Are you shooting film and then scanning the images? or is your minolta a digital model? I shoot film and when I first started submitting images to bp, I was shocked at how soft they got when I uploaded them. I ended up getting a new scanner and photoshop so that I could slightly sharpen the images to try to restore the crispness of the originals. I still lose some of the detail but have gotten much better results lately. If I can answer any more questions, please feel free to email me. This is a beautiful photo! Perhaps the image was too large for their web requirements and they automatically resized it, loosing image quality. That has happened to me before. #519874Bernice Wood May 04, 2004
