I found this little sparrow outside of Hardies yesterday. It looks like it's angry at the world! LOL LOL

1/125, f8.0, ISO 200, DPI 342, 50mm, hand held, cropped only in PSE5. 4/23/07 at 10:08am, Kearney, Nebraska.

This sparrow does look mad--but only in the thumbnail. Once I open and view the great detail of the markings, I think otherwise. Love the way the background colors echo his (her??) coloring. #4213250

He does look a little tired and cranky doesn't he? Maybe he is old and tattered?

One of his little back feathers has a piece missing,too. It's likely a hard little life being a tiny sparrow. I feed them big TIME all winter to so they can keep their strength up.
