Hummie in the Rain

Uploaded: March 31, 2007

Description

Taken through my kitchen window during a summer rain. This was taken several years ago with Fuji 800 film. I scanned the negative and used an early version of Elements to crop slightly and adjust the color. I have other photos of female hummingbirds that have come to the feeder, but this in the only male I've caught so far.

Thanks for the comment, Linda. This particular summer I noticed they'd been coming off and on during the day, but usually around the same time in the late afternoon, so I finally got busy and set up the tripod! #4117569
