I definitely like the new pastel background which goes some way to smoothing out the big difference in the darkness of the leaves. The cyclamen is a gorgeous frilly specimen. But I still find the leaves too dark and not complementing the flower. #4099431

The leaves were very dark, they were not the bvarigated kind. I tried to lighten them up a little without losing detail in the flower. But you're right Kate, they still are too dark. #4100203

We saw wild ones of these when we were in Slovenia and we tried and tried to photograph them, both of us, but none of the photos came out well.
