The all-time coolest basketball tip-off shot ever

Kai, this is one "sweet" shot! Your timing, lighting and exposure are spot on giving the image great colors! I'd give anything to have a shot like this of my granddaughter, she always did the tip-offs! #603411

Thank you, Joannie, I was really happy when I got home and saw this shot. #3936804

Oh my goodness, Kai. What a thrill--for you, for the girls, for their parents (as Joannie suggested--will you be able to make copies available to them?) and for us! This is a remarkable photo given the circumstances. All three faces! The players' positions on the red and blue floor. Even the uniform colors that cooperated to simplify this image in terms of color. I really hope this goes some place. #3949558

Description

Shot from a catwalk above the court. After three years of shooting the Idaho 1A District II basketball tournaments, I was offered the opportunity to shoot from this vantage point for the first time..... 3 minutes before tipoff.
Not much time to prepare, so I scrambled up the ladder, headed out over the court and took a few quick test shots to set the camera... and, well here is the result.
