Hi Scott,
Awesome photo, and a perfect pic for BetterPhoto's "Where in the World?" quiz! It will be featured in this week's PhotoFlash newsletter.
Kerry

P.S. to Everyone:
Have fun guessing where this fine photo was taken. We'll check back in over the coming days to see how things are going. Meantime, keep the guesses coming!

Thanks,
Kerry Drager

I'm gonna take a real random and loose guess and say - South America :) Maybe Peru? #3925081

I love this shot, there is so much depth and I couldn't stop peeking in deeper to get some type of a clue. And based on my limited knowledge of architecture and world topography I'm going to guess its one of the Scandinavian countries. But south America sounds good too... its hard to tell. #3925449

Great shot and feel as if it's been taken in the Dakota Badlands. I may be seriously lost on this on tho..... #3926344

Great Photo! It looks to me like The Underground Cities in Cappadocia, Turkey..... #3927267

Hi, I agree with Shona. It is in the Cappadocia/Gorome area of Turkey. I was there in 1999. You can see why they did some filming for the Flintstones in the area! Quite surreal. #3927313

Hi Scott. I would say Middle East, Israel or maybe Palestine. G. Seaborn #3927365

Well.someone may be close...but don't forget that I have traveled to other planets....and this may be from one of those.... don't be too narrow minded. The Milky Way Galaxy is awesome this time of year!!! scotty #3929860

My guess on the location is somewhere in Greece. #3976793

Ok...you got me....it's the Punjab crater, on the east side of Mars. I was on a Planetary expedition last may and we looked out of our window as we cruised by Mars and I had to shoot this. The Milky Way Galaxy was even wilder.....but the Snickers Galaxy was the best.
soooooooo, actually.yes....some of you really knew it..Kapadoya, Turkey from above. From a hot air balloon with Kapadokya Balloons, the best balloon company in Turkey....the terrain is unwordly from above. You have to see it to believe it!!! ciao for now..scotty #3977094
