Environmental Portrait Description: 100mm/f2.8 macro lens; Fujichrome Provia 100; AP @ f2.8; flash compensation -1.5; hand held; Minolta Dimage Dual II, Photoshop. Mid February is the blooming time of "ume no hana" (plum flowers) in Osaka, Japan. I set my lens at f2.8 and selected my focus on my subject to make the blurring foreground and background. I wanted to make the whole image more 3 dimensional so I decided to use my flash at -1.5 output to light up the flowers of foreground. Uploaded on 3/26/2004 5:38:58 AM
Made with Minolta Maxxum 800si SLR Camera
