Vernal Pool Before Dawn
Description: This vernal pool is on Davidson Arabia Mountain. I chose a higher camera angle in and a wide angle lens in order to get over the pool and draw it out through the photograph. I used that jut of rock in the foreground to start your eye on a journey to the rock on the other side, hopefully zig-zagging through the image. If you saw the Stone Mountain picture you will notice a difference in the rock. Stone Mountain has been walked out with all the traffic, look at all the lichen on this rock!
