Allan L. Whitehead March 16, 2004

A terrific shot well done Carolyn. Please don' tget upset, n but you know how picky I can be, I "might" have cloned out the twig in front of Emilee's face, but that's just me. This is a terrific photo as it is - Allan #426253

Carolyn M. Fletcher level-classic March 16, 2004

Thanks Colleen, Rob, Colette, Theresa and Allan..I did clone it out, Allan, and also had somebody else clone it out, and I didn't like either of them. The shadow on her face just didn't look right after cloning. So I left it in. #426257

Carolyn M. Fletcher level-classic March 16, 2004

Here it is with weed removed. #426281

Sharon E. Lowe level-addict March 16, 2004

Donna R. Moratelli March 16, 2004

I don't know if it's just me but I didn't see the twig. I looked and looked and looked.

The eye is led right to the foreground flower right in front of her nose. All I saw was what I was suppose to see even when I tried to see something else.. #426474

Carolyn M. Fletcher level-classic March 16, 2004

I like it better with the twig or weed or whatever it is in there. Glad you didn't notice it, or if you did, it didn't bother you. #426479

Judith G. Secco March 16, 2004

Way to go Carolyn. #479693

Gianna Stadelmyer April 14, 2004

I missed this the first time around too, but I have to weigh in on the shadow/twig debate. I like the shadowed face. It gives the photo more depth and looks more natural with the hat she has on as that would be shielding the sun from her face. The lightened one with the cloned out weed didn't look natural. Glad to see the judges liked the shadow! Congrats on this lovely portrait making the finals:-) #482404
