I didn't have to go far to get this picture, just had to learn over the fence. This 50yo truck & crane was dropped off for only 2 days, 26 years ago so I don't reckon they coming back for it now. In it's previous life it was used in a factory that produced wooden broom & axe handles, mainly out of Spotted Gum. Image taken around 5pm today.

Great work here Chris! Nice to have your photographic subjects come to you. Surely this would be a veteran model crane? #581966Su Sana E. P January 04, 2007
I don't drive and therefore I've no experience with automobiles. But I always find these old timers pretty interesting. Excellent find and capture, Chris!! #3779191Hurk (Steve) Hurkett February 25, 2007

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate them. I always wonder what these old things have been through in all their years, if only we knew. SuSana, I couldn't live here & not be able to drive, we don't have much in the way of public transport. Thanks again all. #3989163Dianna Hauf May 06, 2007

Very interesting. Reminds me of the old truck sitting near my house on land that used to be a farm. #5262676Chris Ebben December 30, 2007
