Description

This up close and personal portrait of a navigator aboard a Delaware Air National Guard C-130 was taken with a 16mm wide angle. We were flying from Stewart AFB in Newburgh, NY to Lyon France via the Azores, a rather long flight to say the least! Exposure

Hi Bob, This is absolutly fantastic! The DOF and exposure are excellent. Everything is so clear and sharp with colors true to life. Thanks for bring me aboard! #6309

Thanks Donna, this was quite the cool opportunity - I was free to roam over the entire aircraft during the flight. I have some other pix of the flight crew at their stations doing their assigned tasks. There were about 60 or 70 passengers (2 Army bands) + a lot of cargo (musical instruments & luggage) so it was a bit crowded! Unless you've experienced it, you can imagine how uncomfortable it is spending 14 hours in a nylon troop seat on a military transport :-) When we get together I'll show you the rest of the pix.
