Description

This was a tongue-in-cheek-joke amongst our group and our guide thought it very clever. Construction cranes are throughout China as more and more jobs leave the USA for cheap labor that knows no health care, often little affordable food and miniscule wages. Generally the people have been taught to work, often via torture and the fear of more has been passed down from generation to generation. Jobs are scarce and poverty is everywhere. Only a very few of the hundreds of millions of people make a decent living.
