Description

Happy Birthday Kara!

I know that frames are discouraged, and titles and so on, but this is specifically a postcard I made for a gift for my daughter who collects and mails postcards--she's in a club. It was taken (by me) in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2002. At the top of the hill is a famous very old fort.

Pat, it was really raining, but of course I did some "enhancements." The sky was nearly a plain blank white so I substituted another sky. I upped the saturation a little. My daughter particularly likes European buildings, thus my choice of this picture, though I have many mountain scenes and so on. I need to go back for another photoshoot. WWhen I was in Slovenia, it was really beautiful and no crime. Inexpensive and nearly everyone spoke English. I hope it hasn't been overrun and ruined. #3608637
