A very well composed and cropped picture, great colours and effect, Robert! #99210

Wonderful color and composition, Robert!
I too like the effects you used! #387751

Mette & Janet,

Thanks to you both for the comments - for taking the time to look and write.
Your words are appreciated! There really is no "effect" per se. Or maybe I am just being stubborn and defensive. (Surely my wife would never, ever accuse me of
being the slight bit stubborn!)

The word "effect" to me implies some sort of computer manipulation. "Technique"
feels somehow better al thought as I think about it I have no logical reason why.
It was a cloudy day, one slide is in focus shot at roughly f8 and overexposed about 3 stops. The second is unfocused and shot wide open. Scanned as one image then lightened and sharpened -- seems everything has to be sharpened when you scan. #388421

I understand and the results of scanning as one image made a very unique and beautiful shot. The trees look almost as if the leaves are painted. Very nice! #388593
