Homecoming Celebration
Uploaded: November 02, 2006
This image was taken at night outside of a New York flower wholesaler under a strange mixture of lights. Multiple images with differing focal points were taken from a tripod mounted Canon 20d with a 105mm Sigma macro. The images were color corrected in raw and then composited with Helicon software.

Thank you, Janine and Barbara. I was thrilled by the intimacy of the close-up. I grow numerous plants, so I always have something interesting to shoot. I guess I am addicted because this shot was taken at about 5:00 a.m. in the flower district of NYC by someone too excited to sleep. I am glad you enjoyed.Donna La Mattino Pagakis November 16, 2006

Thans Mary and Donna. You kind comments were a nice greeting for my return to town (and my computer). Digital's option to composite images with different points of focus opens new vistas. Best regardsIrwin
