Ghost Hunting

The Perception: I drove down US 1 on a very dark October night. The full moon that darted in and out of the cloud filled sky provided very little light. Ghost of those who perished at sea during stormy weather has long been rumored to be roaming the coastline of Maine. A chill filled the air as I pushed the shutter while capturing the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. The front door slowly opened with a shrilling creak and nobody appeared to be there.... Or was there? Would you knock on the door on Halloween night? Reality: Image taken with mid afternoon light. DD effects were accomplished using PSE4 and the nik Solarization filter - Happy Halloween
