Wonderful lighting, composition, clarity and color for an awesome macro, Jim! What lens did you use for this capture? #532449Ross Throndson October 06, 2006
Cool Macro Shot, Jim....Wonderful Color & Detail....Beautiful Composition!! :^) #3415232Jim Miotke My Courses October 12, 2006
Thank you so much Ronald and Ross.I selected a particular bouquet of flowers because I was extrememly interested in one particular flower in the bunch. However this is not that flower. Surprisingly, once I started shooting, I noticed how incredible this was and focused all my attention on it. Totally forgot about the other flower.
Ronald, I used a 100mm dedicated macro lens by Canon for this. I love this lens. If you're interested in macro, I recommend saving up for it (or asking for it for Christmas - ;) You can find much less expensive solutions but I find this lens to be my favorite. I have never regretted buying it. #3441028
