Thanks you guys !!! This was a shot that almost didn't happen. Taki corp. had never used people in their ads. Emily is the marketing director's kid and just showed up wearing this floral print dress.

I told everyone I wanted a shot of the kid in the garden (that was built from scratch for the shot, except the tree). Everyone said no. I threatened to leave. Then the father said ok, I shoved a bunch of flowers in Emily's fist, picked her up and planted her in front of the tree. Now everyone wanted to art direct the kid. I told them to all just go to lunch. They did. I asked Emily to sniff the flowers in her hand, she did, and voi la!!!! American Taki started using people in their ads here and in Japan. :>))

You're absolutely right Cherylann. Film. It's the REAL thing.
Thanks again for your kind words.

This shot is fantastic! Not sure what the ad is for, but it's a really alluring photo! I really do amire your use of film instead of digital! I must say that I'm a child of the digital age and don't dable in film, but I do really look up to those that do and make wonderful images like this! Kudos! And glad you pushed the issue here!!! :) #6280990
