AMAZING! I'm really impressed. These critters are hard to get close to! The mouth, especially looks difficult to catch, but you have! #509405Wende Trew August 24, 2006

Thanks, all! This one was a gift. I was set up for a macro shot on the red hibiscus, and this dragonfly just landed right in front of the lens, about 4" away. Didn't seem bothered by my hand also being about 4" away (focusing) as long as I moved slowly. Completely ruined my flower macro shot -- the weight of the dragonfly folded the petal down over the bud I had been focusing on and it wouldn't straighten back up afterward. But I didn't mind at all! Speaking of the mouth, look at the next shot -- it's eating a tiny insect. #3210942Amy JACKSON August 24, 2006
