Description

This is a real CD design that I just got through making. It goes to press this week and should be available for sale soon. As it happens, I was hired to perform the solo violin tracks for this CD. The muic is very pretty and somewhat New-Agey. I brought my camera to one of the sessions to shoot something else and the composer - David Sudaley - asked me about my photography. He loved my BP gallery and asked if I'd be willing to design the artwork for the CD. There was a tremendous amount of back and forth discussion over each page of the design and it went through a vast number of permutations before everyone involved signed off on this final design. One of the funny things was the clothing he wears. He sent me a very bad jpeg of himself in a long black coat and black pants. I had to re-tailor his clothes in Photoshop - shortening the coat length and changing all the colors to get what you see here.
