Hello Kerry,
This is beautiful! I especially love the lighting and progressive lift as I attempt to take it all in. Is there someone in the tower? I thought I saw someone or(something) peek around the corner. Is this church located anywhere close to Jackson or Auburn CA? Hwy 49? Just curious about the location. --Stunning catch. #284456

Hi Ronda,
Thanks for your nice comments ... I've pleased that you like this photo!
Yes, the church is located in Jackson (again, the California Gold Rush Country). Good eye for seeing something in the tower ... no, not a person, but something is definitely there!
Besides the church, what caught my eye was the tremendous sweep of clouds. Then it was a matter of finding a good angle in which to capture the church ... and the clouds. I felt that a wide-angle perspective - while looking upward - would add visual energy along with the clouds. A polarizing filter then deepened the blue sky, and really made the white church and clouds pop out.
Thanks again, Ronda!
