Hi there and THANKS everybody. As for the question regarding what lens I used, it was my trusted TS-E 24mm/3.5L Canon tilt-shift lens. I also used a 3 stop ND grad to hold back the sky exposure since it was so much lighter than the waterfall and rock. I shot it on Fuji Velvia 35mm film. This place is amazing and I really recommend that you visit it if you get an opportunity. I helicoptered in and hiked out. The hike out was a fairly strenuous 8 mile uphill battle... #3132420

Hi Howard and thanks. I was there in May of last year. We stayed in the Havasupai village motel for two nights. Lots of "Navajo" fry bread... (it's actually Supai fry bread I guess). #3134544Cathy Stancil 8/7/2006 9:05:00 AM

Mick, Kerby, Susana, Donna, and Joannie, thanks for your appreciation! Sharing this photograph is the next best thing to what I felt as this scene developed before my eyes down there in the canyon.Joannie, no I'm not in Plano, TX anymore. However, I find myself surrounded with more nature subjects here in the Pacific Northwest that I did in Texas. But the skies are grey more often. :-) #3394530

Congratulations on your Second Place win, Inge! Gorgeous photo!Cathy :) #3444835
Havasu Falls near Havasupai village which is located in a side canyon to the Grand Canyon. I used a 3-stop ND grad filter to hold back the sky exposure so as to bring it within the latitude of the film used (Fuji Velvia).
