Glaumbaer museum

Glaumbaer museum is an old Icelandic farm, the oldest part from the mid 1700 and the youngest from around 1846.
This was a farm of a “well off” priest so it’s in no way the typical icelanding householdings. Those were much poorer and worse living places.
This building is though in many ways a good example of the architecture of the icelandic farms of better standards.
The outer walls were made of turf that was a good isolator in the harsh climate but maybe not the healthiest material to live with.
