JUSTIN
THIS IS VERY COOL

IT SHOWS YOU HAVE A GOOD EYE FOR MAKING IMAGES AND SEEING WHAT WILL LOOK GOOD PHOTOGRAPHED. IT ISN'T NECESSARILY HOW GOOD SOMETHING LOOKS, BUT HOW GOOD IT LOOKS PHOTOGRAPHED!

IT CAN BE IMPROVED BY ELIMINATING THE THING--LIGHT OR WHATEVER - ON THE RIGHT.
GOOD COLORS
NICE TEXTURE TOO
ALTHOUGH THE MAIN IMAGE WOULD BE CENTERED, I THINK IT WOUD MAKE FOR A BETTER IMAGE
ENJOY

Justin, first thanks for visiting my gallery and commenting on Jeep. I am glad you are getting started in photograph at your age and from your first 3 images you have a good eye for captures. This image is done very well. Many will give you some helpful comments (ps do not take them personal just use them in a learning process) Watch your mom and always ask her for advise on your captures. I look forward to a picture of your cat, Sandy. #3039861

Great image, Justin! I like how the colours are vivid and well balanced and how the stream of water leads directly to the lion. You have a great eye for design because you have a circle nestled inside a triangle, and the triangle is super important in composition.

John has a good point about cropping out the light; it doesn't do anything your image needs. Whacking the light out would center everything, and centering is a good idea when a composition is symmetrical -- where the image on one side is a mirror of the other.

Congratulations on becoming a member of BP! I'm sure you'll learn a lot here because people are very helpful on this site. After years of doing photography, I still appreciate reading comments about my stuff and other people's. Even though I don't always agree, they make me think, and I learn from that. And thanks for your comments on my pictures! #3046748

This is one of those times when the rule of thirds can be ignored. Your main subject is so large and dramatic and colorful that I would go ahead and center it and ellimate any distractions in the backgound using a cloning tool. Congratulations on your choice of a wonderful subject! #3188831

Wonderful capture of detail Justin! I like how you placed your main subject just off center, very nicely done. Very interesting water fountain, looks old. Great work :) #5139484

Justin,
I really like this composition AND the light fixture, too. The jewel-colors in the light are the same as in the tiles behind the lion--- brings the whole image together beautifully!
Great job, Justin!
You're a natural! #5139727
