Description

This is the actual image, cropped and posted. We had a small thunderstorm yesterday and I went out and took some images with intentional camera movement. I loved the colors and sparkling water drops. Featured in PhotoFlash #040

Thank you David, Terry, Dale Ann, Amy, Sarah and Virginia (e-mail responses) for the wonderful compliments and support. I was asked by Virginia how this image was taken. It was intentional camera motion. Here are the technical aspects- F8 at 1 second, ISO 100. Macro was off but the flash was on slow. I set my camera to shutter speed priority. Then as I shot the photo I moved the camera slightly out and to the left. I took so many images trying to achieve the look I wanted. I am new at this and was inspired by all of you at BetterPhoto who are experts at intentional motion image. I hope this helps.
