Self-doubt

toothpicks (your inner inhibitions) blocking the free flow of talcum powder (latent human genius).

You expressed the emotions around self-torture very nicely Murtaza. The neon effect adds to the angst. It's an interesting image. #73579Murtaza H. Saeed November 10, 2003
Thank you, Patricia. I knew when I walked past the toothpicks in the kitchen today that this was going to be my assignment today - that somehow this was one of the elements. I'm glad this idea came to me. After a picture is made and posted, I'm just as surprised sometimes at myself, not so much at the result, but just that I started from something I could not believe at first could really amount to something - hehe...maybe its self-doubt!! Thanks again!:) #263262Suzie Strasburg November 10, 2003

Striking color, lighting, and contrast in this image, Murtaza! #263551Murtaza H. Saeed November 10, 2003
Thank you so much Suzie & Carol!! Here's a look at the original shot. The only p.s. used in this is the brightness & contrast. #263617Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
