I am no where close to creating such a precious photo.

Wow! It's beautiful.

I would like to know, what program did you use, what steps did it take to bring out a photo like that? #2911444

Johannes Kornelius July 02, 2006

Hi Leisah,Thanks for your comment. I use photoshop to compose the image. You need special plugin to cut out the baby from the blue screen. Especially dealing with hairs, it is rather difficult to do manually. There are some good masking software that will the job easier, such as: Primatte, Knock Out,Fluid Mask.

This is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!.

I have Photoshop CS. Can this be done with this software?

I would LOVE to know how you did this.

THANKS!

Missy, thanks. You can do this with Photoshop CS.There is Extract command in Filter menu. But for maximum result you need to use special plugin to cut out hairs. To give you some idea please visit Fluid Mask website to see the tutorial:

Thank you so much for responding!

I am not at that advanced stage yet, unfortunately not even close. Think I may start myself with the beginings of digital photography before I tackle Photoshop.

Thanks though!
Your photography is amazing!! #2997013
