Description

These are bubble gum balls taken through the glass of the bubble gum machine. The machine was located in a mall. I used exisiting light.

I zoomed the lens using a slow shutter speed to get this effect.

Wow! This is QUITE amazing!! Outstanding shot, Melissa! So far, my camera has not "cooperated" on these sorts of photos (either that, or I don't do it right) so I always stand a little bit in awe of such effects! It is relatively easy to get a "blur" but not so easy, to retain enough of the subject that it's easily identified. This is great! And for "icing on the cake," you even caught the light reflecting on the glass! Excellent photography! #2809743

Yes...these are gumballs taken through the glass with a small zoom to keep the center details. I agree..it does not look like gumballs.
