Thanks Claudette for your nice comments.Your reference to "craftsmanship" was indeed acurate. The idea and construction of this image was carefully planned.
Sometimes it's fun to play with light.
Trying to predict how an ambient (or applied) light source will react to a film's emulsion represents one of the true challenges that photography has to offer.
In this case the result was almost exactly how I'd envisioned it would be.
