Beverley A. Wittig 6/8/2006 6:43:54 AM

It looks like the U.S.A. West coast either southern Oregon or more likely the California shoreline around Carmel-by-the-Sea and Carmel Highlands. Very nice shot, though! #2868924

Robert L. Ashley 6/8/2006 6:59:24 AM

If it isn't the Atlantic coast of Cornwall,UK, then it should be!

Mike Hollman 6/8/2006 1:00:51 PM

By the look of the trees in the background I'd say it's somewhere on the southern coast of New Zealand, possibly Fiordland. #2870202

Tammy Turner 6/8/2006 1:47:00 PM

I am guessing 17 mile drive Monterey Ca.

Looking at this photo again, I was wondering if this is somewhere in Alaska. I believe, I see a "seal" in the left side in the water (it could also be just a rock..LOL), the water is icy blue, which would be another indication of a very cold area. #2870674

Wal D. Marshall 6/8/2006 3:19:40 PM

I think its somewhere in New Zealand... South Island maybe ? #2870716

Pamela A. Davis 6/8/2006 4:29:47 PM

How about Acadia National Park in Maine? #2870896

Tania Ballestrin 6/8/2006 5:19:28 PM

It could also be somewhere along the East coast of Australia, I have seen rock formations like these in a few places. #2870967

Joy File 6/8/2006 11:28:59 PM

Santa Catalina Island, California #2871868

I am thinking Washington Coast. Maybe Rialto Beach or near Kalaloch #2871921

Edward SICILIANO 6/9/2006 5:13:54 AM

The souther coast of Maine. #2873102

Dan Williams 6/9/2006 6:41:50 AM

It looks similar to an area on the north shore of Kauai. #2873501

Dan Williams 6/9/2006 1:43:39 PM

This is really funny. Obviously there are rocks like this at just about any place where the land meets the ocean! :-)

Linda #2875066

Denis R. 6/9/2006 8:02:40 PM

I'd say Ellsworth, Maine area. Or possibly New Brunswick, Canada #2876006

Ray Swanson 6/9/2006 8:29:29 PM

Oregon coast or perhaps N. California, but definitely the Pacific coast of NA. #2876072

Cindy Sherman 6/11/2006 1:02:28 PM

Thanks, everyone, for your participation in the "Where in the World?" quiz ... and again, Jim, an awesome photo!
