Fantastic in camera art...an example to be emulated, Jim!!! #464167Jim Miotke My Courses June 17, 2006
Thank you so much, Melissa. I really appreciate your kind comments. I was fortunate enough to have a friend on this trip with a really good eye. Heather Young, BetterPhoto's customer service star, told me about this great compositional possibility... framing the barn between the cherry tree branches and the tulips below. Using a super slow shutter speed while zooming, I was able to create the blurring special effect. Thanks again for your nice remarks. #2908524

Your straight shot of the tulips and barn is one of my favorites, Jim, but this is a very effective and creative example of zooming!Jim Miotke My Courses February 21, 2007
Thanks very much, Deborah and Kerby. Tulip season is quickly approaching again - better get the rubber boots and umbrellas out. :) #3970480Rich Collins April 20, 2007
This reminds me of a Christmas lights zoom shot I took, which I will be using for this next Christmas Season's Cards. But it does not touch this shot Jim. Guess I'll have to get me an assistant with as much talent & an eye for the truly colorful creative ones. #4191900Jim Miotke My Courses July 02, 2008
What a creative beautiful capture ~ :) #6134468Ken Falls October 21, 2009
Love the zoom effect and how it almost centers on the barn in the background. #8057223Jim Miotke My Courses March 02, 2010
Thank-you, Ken...for the kind words. That shot really came together nicely, but I know that it can be topped, so give it a shot! #8427088Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
