This was taken in an awkward position, being up under the top skirting of my side fence. They dont sit still so you have to compose focus and shoot fast!!

No I didnt get stung, the nest was under my fence, so I just snuck up underneath, they didnt even seem to notice I was there, too busy I guess haha (hence the title)
I have only been stung once by a wasp, and it was on my thumb getting mail out of my letterbox and it was PAINFULL!!!!
100 times worse than a bee!!
But yeah, I was a little nervous, but kinda exciting too!!
