Near Norco, LA there are several refineries. In the distance are smoke plumes and smoke stacks.

I truly enjoy your 'on the edge' shot! A wonderful exposure and such a serene view.... so peaceful! #392279Stacey A. Bates February 14, 2006
Great shot love the colors and composition #2419224Kathleen K. Parker February 14, 2006
Thanks, Roger. The awamp parallels the highway, and farther down this peaceful road are the refineries. I saw a for sale sign posted on part of this land, and I hope whoever buys it will not destroy the marshy area. There is quite a contrast between the swamp and the industry. I prefer the swamp any ole day!!:-)Kathleen K. Parker February 14, 2006
Thanks very much, Stacey!Judy S. Fung February 14, 2006

Thanks, Judy and Steve! Yes, Steve, I was lucky. Another bird flew away, but this one stayed. Nice birdie! :-)Jenny Bosmans February 15, 2006
