Wonderful capture! The clarity, color and lighting are perfect. Initially, I thought the crop at the top (without showing any sky) made the picture incomplete. However, the more I looked at the photo I realized that the sky would have detracted from the main subject matter of the image. I will confess, however, that I would like to see what this image looks like with some sky at the top of the photo! #394534

Thank you both. I appreciate your comments. I do have a version with stormy sky and I like it better too. It is in fact the one that made it into my recent book. However, I have not uploaded it yet... stay tuned.

Thanks again! #2527881

Beautiful! I have a couple of questions. Where is this? And two, Is that a reflection in the water or the base? Again, Beautiful. #2547871

Incredible image! You can even see where there was a minor avalance toward the top. Amazing clarity. #2566299

Allen, Kara, and Diane... Thanks for your comments!

Allen, this is a place called Horseshoe Bend in northern Arizona, near Paige (where a few of the most popular slot canyons can be found). In the water, that is the base of the land submerged.

Thanks again for your kind comments. #2848910
