Long Walk Home

Description

White River State Park, Indianapolis, IN; Olympus OM-1n; 50mm f/1.4 Zuiko MC; Portra 400VC. Tracks in the snow add leading lines to the vanishing point. Nobody else was dumb enough to be out in that cold; set self-timer and walked away from camera.

WOW, GREAT SHOT! DONNARAE #1199

WOW, THANKS! Even though it's not where I live, I've made numerous trips there and have familiarity with the location. Was near there making some night snowscapes, saw the conditions and visualized the image. Took a walk down this bridge, set up and made the shots (at least 4). Had been out about 2 hours by the time I was done; it seemed like a long walk back to my car which was parked only a half mile away. Turned out to be the best shot of the trek. :-)

Thanks,
