Carolyn: Thanks for your kind comment.What's interesting is that I had forgotten my tripod.
Fortunately, one of the other photographers allowed me to use his. That was great because exposures were long, and got longer as the sky got darker.
This is a frequently photographed location in Cologne (Koln) Germany.
