Very creative idea and set up Judith. Many people would simply us PS filters to create this effect but I doubt it would work as well. It is truly beautiful. Love the green/blue tones and the red. A smashing abstract floral still life - I like it very much! #363271

Thanks for your comments, Janet. I've since purchased a larger piece of textured glass and a stretcher frame with the idea of trying this technique with a more stable set up than setting the camera's timer and holding the cutting board in position! I am told the trick is to focus on the texture in the surface of the glass, so I'm looking forward to some more experimentation in 2006! #2217545
