I like it. The tone is very interesting, and I really like the lighting. I am not sure if it is just my eyes, but the second shoe from the right seems to be a bit out of focus where one would put your foot in. The focus also seems a touch soft on the lettering on the tongue of the right-middle shoe. #363034

Bummer...I'm going to have to reshoot this. I like the original one a bit better as well...but fully understand everyone's comments of the crop. Stuart, I see the out of focus as well now...it's not your eyes...you can cancel the eye appointment! #2214209

Gosh Margie! I really love the tones!
The crop is a bit too tight, and there are some areas of soft focus. I still love this shot, very well thought out. Please reshoot soon and post it here for all to see! #2215337

Thanks, Susan. I plan on re-shooting just after the new year. I've left my job and will now be a stay at home mom (although my daughter is in school). So, bottom line, I will have all day to shoot! #2216964

Hi Margie I have gone back and forth from this photo to the original.

And I think you need to leave the original alone. I think the cropping is perfect. Parts may be out of focus but you would have to look hard. If I had a wall where I hung my best work the original would be hanging. :O
