Thanks very much for your kind words. I like your bird pictures a great deal. How do you like the Canon 1D Mark II N? #2190600

Robert, you're welcome and thanks for your nice comments about my bird photos. I really like my new camera, the 1D Mark II N. It starts up instantly, focuses fast, shoots really fast (8 FPS), has great clarity, does really well with high ISO if the exposure is on, and the battery lasts for over 2000 shots. The only negatives would be the price, the weight and the lack of a built-in flash. Thanks again for your encouragement. #2190618

Hi Janine:

Thanks for the feedback on the 1D Mark II N. The price is a big obstacle for me. I guess it's just a psychological thing but carrying around something that expensive bothers me.

But it produces good shots in the right hands for sure; I like your bird series. Right now I'm focusing on flowers but I hope to get some bird and other wildlife images eventually. #2192704
