The Pasha Bulker

I can hardly believe it is 14 years today, since the Pasha Bulker was blown ashore during a storm on Newcastle’s main beach. She was the only one of 56 ships waiting offshore to enter Newcastle harbour, that got into trouble. It took 48 days to re-float her and make her seaworthy enough for her tow out of the harbour and to Korea for repairs. I think she is now known as the MV Drake, and is painted black all over!
