Description

Sleeveface photography is an art form where one or more people obscures parts of their body with a vinyl sleeve, or record album cover, causing an illusion. Some of these images began in the 1970's but was not called 'Sleeveface' until 2007 by Carl Morris. This art form is not as easy as it looks requiring detailed planning w/ your choice of album cover, background & wardrobe to get a good image. This Tanya Tucker album just so happen to match a dress I already had for other time period photography. My settings were F4 ss1/8 iso 100 ocf w/ umbrella & several light stands of 100 watt cfl's. Processed in Topaz Clarity & Texture Effects. This one is far from perfect however considering I was working in a small space w/ an active 4 year old, overall I was pleased w/ the results :)
