Description

A pleasant door to open if you have cards or letters from loved ones:) My setup: First clean the mailbox. I then decided the focal length needed by focusing the distance on the outside of the box using a tripod leg to focus on. Next switched it to manual focus & secured it with a rubber band. I propped up the lens slightly & pushed the camera all the way to the back of the box. I first tried a 10 sec. self timer but a cable release w/ cord behind the letters worked better & I used my left hand to fire the shutter. I tried different glasses & no glasses & decided the dark lens put more emphasis on the door than my eyes. My settings were F4 1/100 iso 400 @28mm. Processed in Clarity & corrected chromatic aberrations in PSE.
