Seasonal change is usually a springboard for wonderful discoveries. Yesterday, in the corner of the picket fence that surrounds my garden, I found a robin's nest. It held one precious blue egg. A leafy bower of clematis camouflages its location from aerial predators but will allow me the privilege of watching and photographing this wonder of spring.

Robins are among my favorite birds, I don't see them much here in Texas but they were plentiful back in Minnesota, WTG!! <>< #1684818Joanna Kovalcsik April 24, 2017
Thank you so much, Nancy! I have yet to see mom and dad at the nest, but I keep watching! :o) #11586539Karen E. Gold April 30, 2017 1
I love the way you have presented the nest and egg, beautifully done. #11589339Joanna Kovalcsik April 30, 2017 1
Karen, thank you for the confidence boost. I had some doubts about this one, but I loved it so much, I thought I should give it a try. :o) #11589478Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
