Description

I photographed this pigeon in Seattle's Pioneer Square. The bird had a deformed foot which it held close to its body when standing and used like a peg-leg when walking.

Thank you, John... it reminds me of a weathered seaman or a pirate ship captain, but those gruff personifications lose their power when I look at its heart-shaped beak and the plume on the top of its head. Awww! ;o) #11582914
