This Loggerhead Shrike just perched right outside my window while I was working on the computer. I had my camera out and ready, so grabbed it and captured this shot. Hand held, 100-400 mm L lens at 400, IS activated with 1.4 teleconverter (for total of 560 mm), f8, 1/2000, ISO 1000, in manual mode.

Thank you, Emile and Jo Ann. I am a bit of a perfectionist, and noticed I had some chromatic aberration in this one, so edited that in Lightroom and resubmitted. Thanks so much for your comments. You all are awesome! <>< #11560261John Connolly February 04, 2017
