Description

Feeling a bit literal and perhaps cheeky with the PG101 Theme for "At Home (Inside My Home)", I thought it would be funny to post a part of the home most of us don't think to photograph... Allow me to take you on a tour of my guest bathroom, a little gallery of interests.
Largely focused on the cathedral, two of my recent images (the uppermost pair) are joined by a very early Colin Winterbottom print (he's my top source of present-day architectural-photographer inspiration) and the 2 lowermost prints were film-shot, developed and printed by one of my sisters during a high school photography class nearly 20 years ago. A few nods to my long glass-collecting years are on the countertop, as are two fun Iceland souvenirs; the porcelain volcano incense-burner on the countertop, and the house-shaped Kleenex dispenser in front of the red towel.
Room for more a few more additions, now that I look at it carefully... ;)

Really like your angle (to show the reflections), your crop (square to show off the more horizontal images), light, AND the tp rolling forward..... :-)

Thanks, Bob -- but wait -- TP can roll BACKWARDS on the spindle? You mean in America? I personally don't believe it!! ;) #11543273

I love it! Especially the personal tour. :-) Makes me smile to see the cathedral. And the red towel. Happy Theme Day, Chris! #11543274

Marvelous tour, Chris. I would love to have this room. Now we want a tour of the entire place. No, it's impossible for TP to roll backwards. It would develop severe mental difficulties if it were forced into compliance with that directive. #11543446

Thanks, Mitch -- I'll have to do a bit more housework before I could consider posting a photo tour of my home ;) hehehe #11543452
