Super Moonrise VA/DC/MD

Description

Looking from Arlington, VA, over the blue tile roof of the Pentagon, across southeast DC and into MD for the super-moon of Nov. 13 as it rose about 12 minutes before sunset. It appears to be rising out of FedEx Field stadium (home of Washington's NFL football team, in Largo, MD.) I used my 100-400mm at 400mm; according to Google Maps, the straight-path distance between my shooting point and the stadium is 11 miles. (Add another 221,524 miles or so, to reach the moon...)
