Description

I took this today using my 100-400 mm L lens at 400 mm with IS activated, hand held, with a 31mm extension tube on. My settings were f5.6, 1/2500, ISO 400.

Haven't used an extension tube before, but love the result you achieved here, Shirley. Very well done! Thanks for the info. #11521140

Thank you, Patrick. You are welcome. I love to share how I take my shots so if someone likes the results, they can try it too. They are a very cheap way of turning a lens you already have into macro. I had never tried it on a long telephoto before, but it works great, especially for a subject that you either don't want to get close to, or it won't let you get close to, it will help. <>< #11521190
