Did I Hear A Shutter Click?

Description

This little Killdeer was out in our backyard, so I shot this through our window. It looked like maybe he heard me, as he tilted his head back towards me like he was listening. I used my Canon 100-400 mm L lens at 400 mm with IS activated, hand held. Settings were f11, 1/1250, ISO 800.

Thank you, Gord. I like them too. They are protective parents, putting themselves in jeopardy to protect their young. <>< #11519513

VERY NICE capture, Shirley! These hyperactive little guys are hard to get to stand still long enough to snap a shot! #11519531

A great capture and title Shirley! This is the first time I have seen this cute little bird, they don't appear to have made their way to Australia yet! Fantastic feather detail in this shot! #11519595
